Today I fucked up… by getting into the wrong car
Friday I went out to a local bar with a few friends after work. We all had a few drinks, and by 12AM my friends have all left. Its just me and maybe 2-3 other people at the bar. I’m drinking pretty heavily at this point. I will admit I do have a drinking problem.
Well at this point I realize I’m too drunk to drive home, and the bartender took my keys. Which is fine, I never intended to drive anyways. So I’m sitting outside waiting for a taxi cab. I get the brilliant idea to just sleep in my SUV. My windows are heavily tinted. I also didn’t have my keys so I figured id be fine. So I hoped into my SUV and laid down in the back seat. I’m blackout drunk at this point and pass out.
Fast forward 8-10+ hours of sleeping. I wake up and my car is moving, what the hell!? I sit up and I assume i’m in the back of a cop SUV. I sit up and ask the driver why i’m being arrested. He kinda let out a small scream and asked who the hell I am.
After pulling over, and getting my ass beat I finally figure out what happened. I got into the wrong SUV last night and the guy didn’t know I was in his back seat. So I kinda laughed and explained to him. He didn’t think it was as funny but whatever. He drove me to the next exit and dropped me off. After the ride to the next exit I started to notice palm trees which is weird. I live in Kentucky. He drops me off at the next exit, and I spent the next 3-4 hours figuring out how to get home. I managed to sleep the entire 10 hour drive to Florida on the floor of his SUV without him noticing.
I’m home now, parents bought me an airplane ticket later that night.
