I love the kinds of rights that couples give each other. When you hate a particular food, or your other half has something that they just aren’t going to eat on their plate that you love, and you just are able to take things off each other’s plates. It’s a kind of intimacy that gets over shadowed by sex sometimes…the space around yourself that gets widened so that a special person can fit into it. It isn’t “what’s mine is yours” so much, just an expression of trust. A place where you belong, and you have privileges there.
